| | cheerful | ] | I’ve made my own lunch every day this week. This is a first ever. I’ve been faffing about with tupperware, ryvita, couscous and carrots to decide what makes a great lunch experience and now I have the answer. I know what the best lunch is.
Today I have ryvita, cucumber, ham, philadelphia and topped it all off with a speedboat ride down the Thames. Huzzah. It was sunny and splashy and the Red Bull planes were swooping about overhead. It was better even, than going for a roast in a sandwich, although not as good as a doughnut lunch.
I have to see Mamma Mia this weekend. Have to. *yearns* |

Here's a lunch idea, it's what I had yesterday. A corner of lunchbox with tomato and peas, the opposite corner had a few tablespoons of tuna with a dousing of chiankiang vinegar and they were packed into their corners by rice, it seemed to be quite sticky rice actually. It was my "Homemade Bento Box" and I even took in a set of Ikea chopsticks to eat it with for extra authenticity! I like doing a packed lunch. Today was quiche and salad which is very uninspiring. The Japan Centre at Piccadilly Circus has sweeeeeeeet little lunchboxes. I wholeheartedly believe that lunching from cute boxes makes the experience even more enjoyable.
That sounds lovely!
I love the Japan centre, expecially the chocolate mushrooms!
Ooooh, not had chocolate mushrooms! I go mental for CC Lemon and Pocari Sweat (as well as the crazy sweets) and then forget that I live far away and have to carry it all home.
Mmmmm! And Pocky sticks! I always want to buy plum wine too, but I don't because it's expensive and I don't actually love it, just like it.
Good grief yeah! I've just had a dozen strawberry Pockies (plural of Pocky?) for my pudding as it happens.
Never been bothered by plum wine to be fair. | |
