| [ | feeling |
| | amused | ] | I've just had a visit from the police!
Policeman 1 asked if this was 42 Queen Court, I said no, not at all, it's a completely different number and street and I've never heard of Queen Court. Policeman 2 said "We've come to completely the wrong address, haven't we?" and then they went away again. |

Bless them! Perhaps they've had a long day?
They both seemed quite cheerful about it!
That's even better! Maybe their shift had just started and they were happy to waste some time find the wrong address! :D
Looking at Google Maps, there's a Queen Court in the Borough of Camden, so they must be quite a way off. I had a similar situation! Except it happened at about 2am in the morning and I was woken up and had to answer my door while half-asleep, and they were like, "Is so-and-so* home?" and I was "I've never heard of so-and-so" and then they looked at me and looked at each other and there was a long pause and they were, "This isn't 52 Tappesfield Road is it?" and I said, "No." Which was pleasing to say, but I still had to get back to sleep. That was a fairly boring anecdote, sorry. Yours was better.
*Obviously insert a name here. Let's call him Dorian.

I think it's much more exciting at 2am! I also think the police need street maps. | |
